Ever since Olivia started geocaching she has been obsessed! Geocaching for Olivia has been a great experience. She has told her friends about it and hunted with her friends as well. Recently she asked her friend Tasha to go hunting with her.
“Tasha, I’m going geocaching on Saturday care to join?” Olivia ask.
“Yes girl I would love to go geocaching!” Tasha says.
Olivia and Tasha has been friends since they were in first grade. Now they are 15 and they both live in New York with their parents and siblings. Olivia has been on a numerous amount of adventures geocaching around New York. Olivia buys GPS applications for about $10 for geocaching on her iPhone. Such affordable technology, along with the growing number of stashes to find -15,000 within 100 miles of Times square has made geocaching easier for Olivia, friends and others. Olivia’s first prize was a pencil from China. Although she has several pencils she finds this pencil unique and keeps it up. Finding the pencil made geocaching a hobby she loves.
“It may sound like I’m exaggerating, but that pencil is so beautiful to me.” Olivia says. Olivia has found 200 caches and wants to continue finding more.
Olivia says that geocaching is fun and exciting in the city of New York and recommends it to everyone.
